no problem, i think once my dad decides to get a beater DD, i'll buy the black cavy off of him for my DD.

 

doing good man, hoping to have my cobalt for the weekend, i am going to call the dealership this afternoon to see how things are going. i'm trying not to be annoying to them, just trying to come off concerned and like i actually give a crap about how things are going.

yea, a really really slow stock cavy i told you it wasn't anything special.

oh yea, they've had my car for like 3 weeks now, i think friday will be exactly 3 weeks, in all honesty...... if it is completely done and i can pick it up friday. that's pretty good for what they had to do.

 

DD yeah i need one of those...I've been lurking around TST looking for a cheap but fun DD...if i could drive stick i would jump on a 3000gt or 240sx or something and do some simple mods and just drive it to work

well i'm definately getting this 93 S10 from my uncle, that'll be my DD as i'm selling the SS/SC. once that is sold i'll be paying off all my bills/loans. then i might just offer to buy the cavy from my dad and drive the crap out of it as i clean up and do some minor things to the S10. but i have a great idea for my next project car. so i could end up having 3 cars by the winter time.

 

haha hopefully we will too...If we dont have a house by then, I'm getting a car cover and the Z is staying parked for snow season so i'll need something else to drive around in

 

Get another cav, just make sure it's a eco this time instead of the 2200 boat anchor.

 

i considered buying kims and parting out what I could, but the suspension on that thing is so f'd up and i dont have 6 grand that shes asking haha

 

you should save up like $500 and buy a large storage unit for a few months during the winter to park the Z in. that's what i'll be doing. if i have a project car, the S10 & the black widow, i'll be parking the project car and the S10 in a storage unit. use that as my garage until we move and there will be room for me to have all 3 at the house.

what years would that be? i'd like to buy one of the last Cavys built for a DD.
