Joe my sister had the same issue with her 09 HHR. She ended up having to get it replaced under warranty and had to have a new key cut.
On other news, some how between friday night and saturday morning my center grill was busted out of my front bumper also resulting in breaking off the 2 tabs on the bumper cover. Called the insurance company today and they said that there has to be a collision in order for them to cover it. Well duh something obviously collided with the grill and broke it out to break the tabs off. GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im at 40k miles so that makes the world of difference between which warranty its under...
******* stupid piracy this is... The damn car is two years old. most of the mileage is highway miles in the first year.

superchargers will do that....... what are they?
i'm trying to stay motivated enough to at least do the catback tonight...... maybe the struts/shocks too.

a friend of mine down the street are obsessed wit the wing...they arent to happy about me takin it off cause they think the wing makes the srt a srt. i said yea, but i dont like havin a wing blockin my view and i dont like big ass wings on FWD cars anyways

are they on Craigslist?
giant wings are useless on a FWD vehicle.... but i'll admit.... having the high rise on the Cobalt SS is what makes it a SS. yea you got the lip kit & wheels.... but they are over looked when cruising the streets. i kept mine on because i liked the looks of it and removed it when i was going racing or for a change of scenery.
wingless does make vehicle look higher.... but are very sexy when lowered.

and yea theyre on craigs list. the wing doesnt look right on the car wit it so high. i agree. the wing is wat makes it a srt but at the same time i love the wingless look and since there is another srt on my block i had to make mine stand apart. eventually ill go back to puttin the wing back on the car but as of right now, im stickin wit the wingless look.
