Good Morning Everyone!!! i'm early in work today because i dropped my car off at a local dealership. after driving it to work this morning, it got worse, and i highly believe it is definately the jacked up intake valves showing back up.

If it makes you feel any better on the way to work to drop Paolo off this morning (on 95 no less) I noticed that the hood is doing a good bit of 'floating' at only like 60 mph when it only does it normally when you go over 80. When we finally get off and are going like 35 in the city ITS STILL DOING IT! so I am like wtf! so we get to his job and the effing hood wasnt even latched all the way!!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently when we were trying to figure out why the hood wouldnt latch with the rad plate on last night the whole latch itself moved over a bit. Its all fixed now but damn that was a scary experience!!!
On a happy note ITS FRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDAY! and I get to fight with my credit card company when they open cuz they claim I didnt send my payment last month (they got it AND cashed it ) and I get to leave work around 2ish woooooooooooooooooot!

haha yea it is friday!! i'm going to the blue rocks game tonight and there are fireworks afterwards!! woohoo!!
yea i made it to the dealership yesterday, but all they could do is make me an appointment, which is fine. but i went home and played PS2 all afternoon until it was time to get ready for my softball game last night.
good to hear you got that hood fixed tho, i couldn't imagine what i'd do if my hood came opening going down the highway....... i'd probably freak out, hit my brakes and get off the road.

And I was thinking hood pins too. But you know how some people are when they see hood pins...automatic "Rice". God I hate that word lol

I don't need hood pins. It latches perfectly fine. I bought a Greddy aluminum air diversion plate(fancy name for a rad cover thing) from a local dude cuz it was already painted black (woot!) and Z's don't come stock with that panel for some reason. Anyway something hits the panel when its installed and the latch for the hood wont catch at all. We were messing with it last night to see what was hitting and the latch got moved over a lil bit. So no worries its back where it belongs and latches fine...just dont have the stupid plate on

i am highly believing that the intake valves over the #4 cylinder are completely jacked up..... we'll see tho. i'm hoping they'll know by the end of the day today what exactly is wrong. so then they can order the parts today or monday and then have it finished by next friday..... i'm keeping my fingers crossed, i'm already registered for that WR show the second weekend of August.... so they got 2 weeks to get it fixed.

I hate body shops, now my kit wont be done today like I was told. Same as I was told when I dropped it off last monday, it should be done by the 21st. Stop by on the 22nd and get told it would be ready for my friday so I can install it this weekend. My girlfriend called and they told her that it wouldn't be done today.........
Not very happy right now.
