OK, we've all been there, I had a nesty craving for taco bell at like 3 in the morning yestrday and as I was driving down the road (berlin tpke), I was looking around trying to find where the taco bell was cause i had my mapquest directions on my lap.

anywho, apparantly I was weaving a tad as i looked around and the next thing i know, bright old red and blue led's from behind.

So i get pulled over, the whole license and registration thing, and the first question out of his mouth was "How much ahve you had to drink tonite?" I wanted to be like "Do i look like a 40 year old single loser who has nothing better to do than sit around and booze up, its a friggin monday you A$$tard." Instead I said, "nothing, just out lookin for a bite to eat" So we go back and forth and he waddles back to his car.

about 20 minutes later he comes back "im giving you a written warning for failure to drive in proper lane, and taco bells closed by the way" I just wanted to scream "DICK" right at him, but counting my blessings i drove off.

Now, question is, does a written warning go against your license in CT? Does it mean anything?

 

No it doesn't.

As a matter of fact there is no point system in CT anymore.

Here is how it works.

Written warning = Nothing

If you get a ticket and you pay it, your record is clean.
If you get a ticket and send it in not guilty you either end up paying the ticket, giving money to a charity or you are found guilty and and it goes on your record.

After three tickets on your record you have to attend driver retraining class.

For every two tickets you get after that you go to that class again.

After 3 classes you loose your license for 30 days.

 

omfg i HATE the berlin tpke and the cops that drive up and down it. i got pulled over there and got a $115 ticket for running a YELLOW light. i dont drive up there anymore and i dont even go with my friends up there. and like said befor a Written warning is nothing. your lucky thats all you got. my grampa is a cop so he called his buddy and they took care of it for me but it still pisses me off the cop was a dick also. this came out of his mouth

heres your ticket do you under stand everything and im like i sign the ticket on the back and send it in and he goes yea you can read english cant you. and i look at him and he goes have a nice day i didnt say anything just left.

that sucks man. i havent been up there in 2 years now sence it happen. i stick around manchester now haha. it was fun going up there and checking out all the cars on the weekends but the cops killed it so i dont bother its not worth it.
