So i went to my local chevy dealer today to look at some equinox's for my mother. While there i saw a 08 SS/TC black/black. So i walk in to ask about it and the dealer starts pulling the typical question type things and i told him i need the bottom line price or im walking out. So we hassel back and forth for a couple minutes. Basically my 07 LT with 6000mi is worth 11,500 on trade. (i paid that 8 months ago with tax ttl and lic included) I can get the 08 TC for 21,000 out the door and pay 340 a month. So needless to say i have A LOT of thinking to do now!!!

Your talking about Mikey, I recall waiting for you each time, besides nothing wrong with driving that way.

No and No , the intercooler piping blocks you from that I don't see how it would work, and we have a bypass valve which blows that excess air back into the exhaust to keep a/f ratio 100/100.

No mods except Hahn PPC Tuner/Hahn 3" Cat back exhuast, and HP Tuner tune.


Hahn does have an Intercooler/Intercooler piping/Downpipe/ColdRam Intake coming next month.

Turbo Tech Racing has as far as I know a CAI coming in Sept, plus some of the other products like the motor mount works.

 

Well no more car for me for a while....She lost power as I was getting into boost...about 4lbs or so...Runs really rich...No CEL's as of yet which is weird bc i drove it for a good 2 miles after that while she had no power...and just sputters everywhere...can't even idle..All my charge piping is connected, same thing with all my sensors, belts, etc. Shes going in my backyard for a long time since I think i'll be dropping in a new crate motor...I think one of three things happened

1. The Piston (s)
2. Turbo is fried (since its been surging a lot)
3. o2 sensor went

But if it was 1 or 3, I should've recieved a CEL right away. Turbo may be fried...I won't know until like next week when I have time to tear her apart...Either way I want a fresh engine and I think i'm going back to stupidcharged
