Lol, you mean the games suck... cuz stat for stat PS3>360
And I will have my 360 and forza till GT5 comes out, then I shall not look back. FYI, the grphics for foza look like **** now. Evern for 3.... its crazy to me just how big a diff there is gunna be in the looks fo r F3 and GT5....
BTW, PICS THIS WEEKEND. Imma wash/Wax/polish so I wanna snap some pics with a fellow SRT

lol Feb. It was gunna be a fall release in 09, but they are adding 2 extra tracks and fine tuning the nascar in it...
And yea, GT5 prolouge was like 1/12 the game, you could unlock tuning and all once u raced so many miles or what ever, and will be matched up with the whole game when it comes out.

Ok...so Turn 10 studios has produced 2 (soon to be 3) great games since GT4 has been released. To top that off, the release date of GT5 was pushed back a couple of months and won't be released until MONTHS AFTER forza 3 is released. So 2 (soon to be 3) great games while GT5 is still being created.......
GT5P was a demo that you paid for. Scenery sucked (can't argue that one), the handling imo sucked, in car graphics were pretty good, didn't like the sounds coming from the cars that much though.
Forza 3 may not have rally (i don't think it does) but look at all the parts you can buy compared to GT5 and previous GT games. Drivetrain swaps (fwd to awd or rwd to fwd etc.) engine swaps you name it, it's in Forza 3. Also, they have focused a lot on tires and included tire flexing under hard cornering with amazing detail. Then you have the Livery (paint shop) where you can paint practically anything you want. I don't know if GT5 will have something like that, but let me tell you, it's fun as hell once you get the hang of designing your own paint and logos. I can post up pictures of a few cars that I have done in forza 2 if you'd like. I know for sure that you can't paint a car like that in GT4.
I'm not saying in any way that GT5 will suck. It's going to be a good game no doubt. But I personally don't think it's going to be on par with Forza 3. Graphics huh? Have you seen the scenery in GT5? I know I havent..thats because there is none. I understand background scenery doesn't make the whole game, but when you have nothing in the background, that DEFINATELY makes it less life like. Forza 3's scenery are simply AMAZING.
No...ps3 sucks. What good is a console if you don't have any games with it? That's like saying, "Yo I just bought this brand new car. It has no transmission but it has a nasty motor." What's the point in having a car without a trans?

The guy making GT5 is a frigging photo nut, and put in a Photo only mode.... Of course the backrounds will be sick. You saw like 20% of their last game in prolaugue. The truth of the matter is, GT5 will be massive and epic, cuz its one of the main PS3 games... sony needs it to be. And every audio clip as been done just like forza, weather you like it or not is a moot point... They are both copied from real life. Thats just you hearing it with a bias.
From the push of the power button 360 feels like a kids toy... from the front screen to these little Mii ppl you can make.... to the way it all looks... 360 is more of a kids platform now. I've played COD on both and the simple fact it one 360 it looks real grainy, as Forza now looks to me. The clarity alone on PS3 will allow for a better game all around. There really is no arguing this either... there are #'s behind all this. So next up, you can complain about the games??? lol Another funny one, as 80% of the games out there are for both systems.... And I don't like 90% of the 360 only games anyway.

First off, a ton of big games are on the way now. Not to mention.... EVERY SINGLE GAME THAT IS FOR BOTH SYSTEMS... WHY PLAY THEM ON A SYSTEM WITH SHITTY-ER GRAPHICS??? Look at madden on PS3 then 360 ...LMOA1 Its not even close man! Way diff. Like it really is not even close.

As someone who owns both systems i must say there are pros and cons to both. I mainly play the ps3 because of all the **** load of friends i have on xbox live they're rarely on and if they are they're all in party playing gow2 or some ****. Anyways, as for system performance i feel both are pretty on par with eachother when it comes to games that are released on both systems BUT! When it comes to exclusives the ps3 out does themselves time and time again. The 360 just can't handle games like heavenly sword, littlebigplanet, metal gear solid 4, uncharted 1 & 2 hell even squaresoft is saying they're having a hard time fitting ff13 on to a dvd disc for the xbox version. With bluray discs gives the ability to go above and beyond while dvds limit the possibilities. I'd always wondered what gears of war would look like on ps3 and i know i'll never find out but if it was in fact a ps3 exclusive it would've looked a hell of a lot better and that's crazy considering how bad ass gow2 was.
But, in the end it really comes down to your preference. The party system on the 360 is on a level on its own but the entertaiment aspect of a ps3 is beyond that then a 360. Again, it's about preference but either way they're both good.

Forza 2 does feel a little better than 3 but I think they changed that for the game. However, go google "gt5p background graphics" I'm not alone. Pretty much the whole interwebs is with me when it comes to GT5P background graphics. They are HORRIBLE. 2d trees!? I mean cmon! haha

Ummmm tom your my boy and all... but i hate to say you fail. Just because it "Upscales to 1080p" does not mean it shows in 1080... lol Best buy sells DVD players that "Upscale" that are $100. blue-ray player that does not make. Infact 360 does not have the capability to show true 1080p resolution.... and anyone claiming other wise is not very well educated on this matter....

Just because it "Upscales to 1080p" does not mean it shows in 1080... lol Best buy sells DVD players that "Upscale" that are $100. blue-ray player that does not make. Infact 360 does not have the capability to show true 1080p resolution.... and anyone claiming other wise is not very well educated on this matter....How is he "fail"?

You'r looking at the track and when you have to turn and what not anyway? Backround in a racing game is like looking at the fans/crownd in a football vid game when your drop back for a pass... As someone who owns both systems i must say there are pros and cons to both. I mainly play the ps3 because of all the **** load of friends i have on xbox live they're rarely on and if they are they're all in party playing gow2 or some ****. Anyways, as for system performance i feel both are pretty on par with eachother when it comes to games that are released on both systems BUT! When it comes to exclusives the ps3 out does themselves time and time again. The 360 just can't handle games like heavenly sword, littlebigplanet, metal gear solid 4, uncharted 1 & 2 hell even squaresoft is saying they're having a hard time fitting ff13 on to a dvd disc for the xbox version. With bluray discs gives the ability to go above and beyond while dvds limit the possibilities. I'd always wondered what gears of war would look like on ps3 and i know i'll never find out but if it was in fact a ps3 exclusive it would've looked a hell of a lot better and that's crazy considering how bad ass gow2 was.

Ok so you say GT5 has photo mode correct? When you start taking in game pictures, you're gonna have to photoshop in some better backgrounds or just get rid of the background completely since it will make the pictures look just ok.

Fail boat.... the HDDVD "parts" was a add on part that was in no way attatched to the 360 or is attatched to the 360. Show me any part thats HD-DVD on the 360 right now that you don't have to plug into it with a usb.

After working at Best buy for 4 years, and knowing TV's up down left and right, I coudl sit here and explain the diff to you yea, and then I coukd show you the diff and you would see it... and then i'd take that $ you'd be so willing to shell out... there's a diff, its deff noticable... and thats what it is..... watch any tv for 10 hr's and change to a higer resolution... see yaaaa

I'm sure the graphics won't be that bad in the background at all. But i'm 100% sure the backgrounds in forza 3 will be a little better. However, I will agree that the car graphics will be given to GT5 but I don't think it will have that much better graphics than forza 3.
