Only place where cars really meet up on Route 17 would be the Wendy's in Rutherford. There are some other spots but those are all during the weekdays. The Rutherford cops usually tell everyone to go home and not hang out at Wendy's, but I know Whiskey Cafe has had meets before they might be friendly.

 

I'm gonna be out of town this weekend . But yea in general Saturdays are good for me!

 

sat nights are usually good for me but b/c of the sunday meet, shortage of $$ for gas and wanting to spend time with my boy...im gonna pass for this particular saturday

 

Now it's the BK in rutherford. They won't let anyone hang out at wendy's anymore...but they tell us to go to BK now and they don't really bother us. It's mostly fast mustangs lol (most of them are supercharged). Mostly heavily modded v8's and some of them are kind of cocky. Belive it or not, the younger kids with the fast cars are more mature than the older dudes with the fast cars. My friend has a 6.0 turboed gto and doesnt' talk smack to anyone, respects evey1's cars. The older dudes with the procharged and vortech supercharged mustangs all talk smack...A guy with a lightning keeps saying my engine was built by toyota

He tunes cobalts and has done a cobalt clutch already. And to give you an idea, i'd say about 60-70% of the cars he builds end up in magazines. He built a 4 door cobalt 2.4 ss turboed and ended up in gm high tech I believe. But when you go there, it's all vettes, fbody's, and goats with either like 400+rwhp or no engine waiting to receive crazy engine swaps. I think there were 7 LSX (427) blocks that were going to be installed in customers cars when I was there.

First of all, i'm still confused as to why you and russo are talking about this thread...are we considering meets with the south jersey guys or what are we talking about?

Second of all, if we were, i'm saying that would be a far drive, even if it were central jersey...it wouldn't be so local anymore.

 

If we're going to do anything in central NJ, I say we hit up the Rutger's grease trucks late one night on the weekend.

I was ouy at that meet last night. I went to eat with this girl over there, and I came out to see like 20 RX-8's, a bunch of V-dubs and some more random cars. That was around 10ish. I was looking for cobalts but I didn't see any....
