Well i machined the snout down a little but that has nothing to do with what i did to the car. I compromised the seal on the snout of my blower. I am slowly leaking small amounts of supercharger oil. No bueno.

Damn you all missed a fucked up night. Went to the local spot and got invaded by honda fan boys and a kid in a gto. So the kid wanted to run the supra keep in mind the gto is a 5.7 with unknown mods but close to stock and the supra is a cobra killer. So supra says no and decides to leave so guess who leaves behind him the gto. lines up in traffic no place to run and comes running back with tales of beating the supra by a car. So 5 mins later supra comes back and decides that he should run the gto FOR REAL round one not round two like the honda fan boys were suggesting. So they run and the supra spins 1st and 2nd and still beats the gto. So they line up to go from a dig and the GTO bitches out and makes a u-turn goes back to the rice spot and sayshe won by a car. I just dont get it sometimes if you lose admit it.

I got a ride in the beast yesterday. That thing pulls way harder than it looks in the videos. This is only on 16lbs and half throttle too. Damn it's really going to be a monster when it's done.

On another note. After some surgery Paul fixed my supercharger, we think. I won't know for sure until i get it back on the car. I now have a new seal and a ceramic snout bearing. Sweet. This is a result of my stupidity with a pulley puller. But it's ok i know how to use it now. hahahaha.

he pressed the hub in too far and f't the snout seal and bearing up. It's all good, rebuild better than factory. should be good to go.

 

Exactly what Paul said. I was leaking small amounts of oil.

Looking at it again i was lucky i didn't blow out that thing completely. The stock seal was pretty good i guess but the design was weak. The new one seems much better.
