yeah the tune doesn't mess with the NLS, thats part of the Pcm we can't mess with yet.

Yo spoke to Ryan last night, I definitely need to go over some things on the car while we tune it because of the way the BOV is routed.

 

Can you get it to work correctly, because I love it. Or do I have to sell the bov and hot pipe and buy new ones?

 

I should be able to get it working ok, but that is the reason your NLS is making such a loud backfire. WHen the car releases the bov, it's still reading air threw the maf which makes it think air is still be ingested into the motor and it over fuels creating that rediculous back fire. I'll have to work incrementaly on your car with boost til I reach the point where it bogs I guess.

 

hmm I guess you can explain what you mean to me on friday, I guess I wont nls anymore...if this bov will afffect performance then I am thinking it will be replacing it in the near future lol but I will see what you can do first!

 

yeah either we need to convert to blow through MAF and do a massive retune, or go back to recirc.

I tried a few more nls today from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, over and over only cause it dont have to break 100 everytime i try it, well I was seeing rediculous spin in first and second I guess cause the pavment is barely wet maybe creating oil from the ground on a thin layer above thw pavment????

Well when I nls'd I could only hear a slight pop from the exhaust and with that I barely heard any blow off through the hks, a little air came out making a small hiss but but now its a small backfire I guess, o well I wont do it again untill I am at the meet so we can figure everything out! YAY kinda lol

 

I"ll try mike's tune dialed back a little on your car at first and just work from there, should be pretty good as long as the intake has the same diameter maf housing.

 

damm I cant wait, but I just want to make sure everything is fine, you know what, depending on how mikes turbo swap goes, i might look into a swap within 6 months!
