Ugh everyone that lives up island how do you deal with the dicks that are cops? I got pulled over last night. I pulled over and turned the car off. The cop walks up and then tells me " you better get you **** boy" I reach over and grab my regy and then he walks to the font of my car and tells me to turn on my head lights. I fumble around with the keys and he flips a ****. Screaming at me "I said turn on the lights boy". So I turn them on and he comes back and then gets my info and goes back to his car. Comes back and tells me " I could take your car right now. Those lights are illegal to have on my roads" I have the second gen projectors... Then he walked back to his car and just left. I was confused as hell. How do you guys put up with the cops being so rude? Iv been pulled over like 5 times and this guy was just a complete dick. end rant
damn, suffolk sucks ballz.
anywho.... carpet gets install on monday the 20th (which is also my car's 3rd birthday lol). 2 more weeks to go until the furniture gets here and I say bye bye to living in NYC.

Cops on LI are definitely dicks and thats the truth. Just have to deal with it and know when to pick your battles with them. Anything that is not OEM is illegal for the most part. Just get a PBA card and that will get you out of most of the bullshit that they try to pull. Make sure its a close relative or like godparent and they wont bust your chops.

yeah i have a DEA badge...to bad it was given to me after a speeding ticket and about 5 tint tickets in my old car...

you have rims tints and neons from what I can tell. Welcome to the world of "RICE". No offense to anyone but our cars mine included are considered RICE and cops will look to pull them over for any reason. As I stated any mod is pretty much illegal and you can get cited for it. Get used to it. I left DPA one night shifted at 2k and got pulled over for modified muffler. Got out of it of course but none the less cop was a scum bag.

i have never had a problem with tints on my car ever. i got 35% all around and have sat next to cops and they jsut drive by. My work truck has 20% on it and have never ever been pulled over in that truck, even with the extremly loud aftermarket exhaust and the kegs and cases of beer piled high in the bed.
I can honestly say, cops around me are pretty damn chill. Ive been pulled over 3 times for speeding, all 3 times they let me go and told me to slow down, never even showed them my pba cards. Also got pulled over for doing 12 in a 55 on the bethpage parkway at 2 in the morning, cop checked to see if i was drinking then let me go. Got pulled over for turning right on red when i wasnt supposed to, cop pulls me over says i was doing 50 in a 40 and i turned right on red, asked me if i was drinking, then let me go, no ticket.
I must say idn what it is but cops seem to be nice to me. Most cops arnt ********, but you wil run into ******* cops for sure, the only thing you can do is yes them to death, and tell them their right, your wrong, say your stuided ad it wont happen again.
Luckily though, ive got 4 pba cards and 2 stickers just in case!

35% tint is like a glaze. Also always be respectful with cops. Take off your hats sunglasses and what not. Turn off the car and leave your lights on in the car. Always use yes sir and no sir and thank you. Treat them like they are god and they will leave you alone. Don't argue with them cuz that will make it worse. Just some pointers from my godfather who was a city cop and is now a suffolk sheriff.
