I enjoy the dumb burnouts and wheelies. makes life more fun. only thing I did up there was a burnout in the rain with my old rear mounted turbo. (RIP)

 

Well for an old timer you can ask RLB and BCP we used to go to 66 and there were about 10-15 cars all who were friends and we would have some pretty good runs. Cops never bugged us and we always kept the lot clean. So its kinda sad to see what it has turned into.

haven't posted in awhile...figured this was worth talking about though! so yesterday me and a few of my friends got together at the sayville baseball fields off of broadway ave (some might know) and there were like 50kids (not kidding!!) like hanging out...all around like 9th and 10th grade...so we couldn't really get on the field to practice...so we decided to wait it out and see what the group did...and sure enough they all got together in a circle and started to go APE **** on each other!! not kidding like fight club **** going down! so my brother called the cops because it was rediculous and they showed up with 2 cars and the kids ran like roaches being uncovered! it was crazy!! I was shocked! Do kids have nothing better to do on a freaking awesome day out?? It was however really freaking funny when they were running next to me as I was waiting for the field to open and i was yelling "Oh **** it's the cops!" from superbad lol

 

Does anyone know a good detailer? Prefer someone that can come to me or isn't all the way up the island.

so today i went to do a launch (not with launch controll) and i pulled perfect out of first then when i went to nls from 1st to 2nd there was no second.... i snaped some mesh tubing off the intake and i think there is a bolt missing from the bracket of my transmission and i have no 2nd , 4th, or reverse ( mike i just lost those gears on my way home i hit them before i called you) mike said it could be a roll over pin but like wtf the car has just over 5k miles on it and this is the second tranny problem im guna bring it to atlantic in bashore tommorow morning if they will take it in..... this is bull **** but guess no go for me on 101 tommorow

It's most likely a roll pin, stop shifting it hard. These are shitty cable shift setups, not very accurate. Can't shift em like the old RWD manual trans.
Amazing how everyone says they are so shitty, 150+passes at the track, 48,xxx miles, 600+ street runs. Still on the og trans and roll pins.

everything is gay now..... That's why I'll pretty much not be around, it's not worth it anymore. Spot up by me isn't too bad though. usually 500 cars or so, cept last friday some retards were launching mortars in the lot

yeah, you gotta be easy on it. You can shift fast, just don't slam gears (you may not realize you are, but you are, thats the only way to snap those pins.

no prob. you can replace them with tool strength shear pins, but then you run the risk of trashing your synchros

 

im going the safe route the cars in the dealer but idk for how long.... my glow off gasket is snapped, im missing a bolt from the tranny mount bracket and a roll pin is broken.... this all happened at one time too... i guess compression + hard shifting = messed up night
