The only event I plan on going to Florida for is to watch a shuttle launch and you can damn well bet I want to be there for one of them with my camera before they go away! There's one scheduled on the 14th of May, so I might rock that.

Yeah I've gone in June and August too. August was worthless. I went to So-Cal in August where it was 113° and that was more comfortable than whatever it was in Florida and I know it wasn't over 80 something in June.

 

I was down in FL. back in Oct. last year & it was 100*with humidity.

 

Yeah to hell with that, I was in So-Cal/Vegas October of '08 and it was 90s but comfortable and low 60s at night. I love So-Cal weather .

 

Nothing beats NYC.

 

I do like having winter that's for damn sure.

Wow sorry to hear that, I hit a curb the week before Christmas but got lucky I didn't mess up the rim. I thought I saw some lying around the vendor forums then.
