hey guys guess im new to the area too, and ish to the Cobalt seen. I got mine in Dec last year (YAY POST DEPLOYMENT MONEY!!!) and then got stationed in Brooklyn. Lookin for some cobalt buddies to help fend off the attack of the Honda over here! Won't be back untill the 28th (in TX for work) but after that i'd like to see what everone is doin with their Balts up here. *i say up here cause im from Oklahoma* anyway my name is Ty, blue ss s/c looks stock mods are in my little garage thing on here.

Thanks man, i have been lookin for a tuner shop in the NY area. I didn't know you were up here. I've heard alot about your projects (i think its yours? the RWD Balt?) anyway i'll def be hittin you up in that case! Although most of the work i'd like to do myself (just that southern boy in me) but for the stuff i'm wtf lost on i'll have to have someone else do it. as much as that hurts

AWD balt? i think i read a thread on this, something about a SAAB bellhousing and a different tranny i think. If you have a thread on the build i'd be interested to read it. (not lookin to go AWD but im interested in the mechanics of how you did it) I'd go RWD if anything and to the best of my knowledge only on SS S/C has tried that ^^^


Anyone know of a good tuner in the Brooklyn/Queens area? Or LI in general i guess. I'm lookin at doin OTTP stage 3 kit at the end of the year/begining of the year (either my Christmas or birthday present to myself ) and i'll want a tune when i do it b/c i'm adding meth in at the same time.

nah rwd was rod's mine was the 550+whp black one (first stock motor'd car over 400whp), the auto swap 2009 t/c (just finishing that up) and a few other turbo swapped cars
