gotta post up prior! wont be out in the cobalts though, 95 lesabre is on the road for winter!



DPA is a waste land, plus the cops finally got that on lock down, DnB on 110 is the new spot. Im happy to see another 2.2 out there
I would like any advice on the SAI. I just spent 100 on a new pump and now i have to spend another 100 on the chk valve. Aparently water got in the system and screwed everything up. The pump was def bad because i jumped it and it had no power. I checked the power to it and the relays all good. Didnt even have a blown fuse. After installing the new pump i got a whole new set of codes that lead to the chk valve being bad.

DPA was a waste to go to back when i was hanging out there about 5 years ago. People showed up but no real racing went on there. Edison is where real racing happened but it was mostly muscle cars. They didnt really like the importers either.

Glad to be hear. I had a 90 cavalier z24 that i swapped a 3400 in before the cobalt but when i got the job a benz it was a bit of a ride and really needed something with better
gas milage. So i sold the cavalier to my friend who helped me do the 3400 swap. and went with a cobalt. In total i have only owned cavaliers. I had a 91 vl then a blue 90z24 and then a red 90z24.

All SAI does is suck in air and dump it into your header on very cold starts and runs for about 30 seconds. Personally my LT has never been that cold that it even kicked on. The purpose is to heat up the exhaust and burn off the "bad stuff in the exhaust" (think catalytic converter) its just a pure emission system. the CELs aren't hurting anything i would just mod, tune and get rid of it all together
