if anyone's going to colt state park on sunday, i'd be game for meeting up for a bit there.

Very nice. Is it a close to stock motor or built. I know you said you can't fit an air cleaner on there. I had the same problem with my other car. Now its got a 4 inch hood . But props on the 'bird. Looks good

 

it has Edelbrock Performer RPM Cam , Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake Manifolds, Holly 770 street avenger, bored .40 over, hooker headers and custom header back exhaust and i am not sure what exactly is in the motor the guy that owned it before me rebuilt it and 3.73s and a shift kit

 

Sounds like a solid motor. Bet she goes good with the 373's

I have a 79 nova with a 454 and a Muncie 4spd. An 373's. If I can finish rebuilding the tanny in time ill bring it to SMG's dyno day.

 

Ideas already been done. The only difference was that it was silver and black.

And I can't make it to the Colt State meet. I blew my tranny a couple days ago.

Yep. Blew that bitch up. Actually sounds like I split the clutch in two. The gears aren't grinding, but the clutch is.

 

nice and supposedly the clutch was the only sturdy peice on that car lol

 

That tranny is a rock. The clutch was just a stock clutch, redone into a higher performing clutch. So the stock one snapped, i think. Can't say for sure till I pull it apart.

 

I thought it was a stage 4 clutch????
