Cobalt almost got wrecked

Just thought I'd share this with you guys that like to race on highways.... On my way to work this morning on the cross island pkwy... 2 ********, 1 was in a late 90s maxima and one in a new 2 dr honda accord v6 were racing in traffic.... I was in the right lane they were both ahead of me doin 80 plus.
The guy in the maxima decided it would be a good idea to fly across to the left lane (pickup in middle lane) to pass the accord... well the guy in the pickup did not see the moron in the maxima and was in the middle of changing lanes to the the left one. Guy in maxima hit the brakes and over corrected sending him back across the road into the divider about 10 ft in front of me (at about 80mph, I was doing 65). He then bounced off the right lane divider back across the road and slammed the pickup back into the middle concrete divider, then of course both cars come careening back across the road right in front of me again and into the rh lane divider..
My car was almost wrecked 2x in the same accident... I have a few nice scratches on my car now from flying debris.. I had to skid my car sideways to stop in time and almost got hit be the 3 other cars behind me... of course the dick in the accord took off and left the scene immediatly. Just a word of warning to you guys... don't do this **** in traffic, you never know what other people are gonna do...

Did you see any details on the car that took off? I would alert the cops to what they were doing so fast.

well my headlight has a small crack and I think the bumper could be buffed out but the one on the hood is through the paint (guys headlight bouncing across the rd)... I tried chasing down the accord when I was on the phone with 911 but they took so damn long to get my info I ended up losing the guy in traffic. (wasnt about to cause another accident)... I had always wanted to see a nice wreck too, but not that close.. I mean that **** was close like less then 10 ft in front of me...

Wow, sounds like you were lucky!

Racing in traffic is gay.

Glad you are otherwise un-harmed. Sucks about the scratches though...

And for those of you unfamiliar with the Cross Island Pkwy it is a 3 lane Highway, with fairly narrow lanes and some pretty nasty curves here and there. That is certainly not the place to screw around expecially during rush hour. Well that Maxima certainly has a **** storm brewing over him.

Sorry to hear about the damage dude.

I gave the 911 operator my cell number, so I'd be glad to give a witness statement if the cops call me.... the funny thing was they were trying to race me the whole way in too... but I don't do that ****..

on the same story... a friend of mine just called me about that accident not realizing I was right in the middle of it.... he thought he saw a black cobalt but it had no badges (Ijust removed mine sat) He said the move I pulled was sick... never thought you could do that in a front wheel drive car.

I'm glad your ok. Did you get plates on that other car? If not keep an eye out for it and get plates next time you see it. ******** like that. Grrr...

They need to have their rides taken away and spend a few months with a brother lover.

I would be IRATE if I got scratches and would have stuck around for more insurance information on that one to get my **** fixed.

You are definately lucky. Is the Maxima guy gonna pay for the damage to your vehicle? You said you tried to catch the Honda guy but didn't mention if you went back to the accident.

nah... I had to get to work... but I called the precinct and then said once the report comes in they would call me... I should also have a record of dialing 911 att that time so I could prove I was there.

I can only assume that they were younger men racing and acting like jackasses in traffic, giving all men a bad image who may have faster cars. Thus continually increasing our insurance rates (if you're under 25 like myself). ********.
