I would like to go and I could make it. I have off that day. The only prob is it is the last day Maple Grive Raceway is open. I will be attending there season closer. Maybe next meet. Thanks for the info and good luck everyone.

yea, that sounds like a plan... we should exchange #'s for those of us that are meeting at the mall saturday morning...
on a side note, i can mount a camera in the big ass hole in my bumper if anyone wants!!

yea, i was joking about the camera mount thing too.. when i do videos, i do what i call a "limo chase" where i film the cars going from the church to the reception... i'm more steady filming than most videographers are while they're NOT driving... provided i have the right camera of course... i have a few kick ass shots you may want to add to your list ct..
1) cars lined up, driving, and filming through the passenger mirror
2) cameraman set up ahead, and the doing a nice pan while the cars are flying by.. throw in a little camera twist, and it looks nasty
3) cameraman at the end of the line, pulling to the left lane and filming while he accelerates by the line up
i would do these shots, and wouldn't recommend anyone that hasn't done it attempt something like this...
i'm sure that if no one has a GOOD camera, we can rent one for the day... i would look into a panasonic dvx100a if there's a local place to rent it from... has a kick ass 24p setting that looks like film if you know how to use it... think napolean dynomite, discovery channel shows, mtv shows, they use that camera.

of coarce im gonna be there lol i live seriously 3 minutes away ( the way i drive) my number is 860-417-9594 and ive gone to jersey and boston and know the way pretty well so call me if you have a problem. and i might know it lol. oh and good idea tony but mayb next year a lil earlier when its not gonna be so cold lol
