oh god i dont check this forum for a couple weeks and theres a small novel for me to read, hows everyone summer going?

Hopefully better than mine for any of you who didnt notice my post on the problems and service forum.

Possible tensioner issues/timing chain roller issues. Don't know yet because I have yet to get a dealer to stop dicking me around and take a look at it.

You looking to have warranty work done or something else? What dealers have you tried so far?

carter chevy in manchester CT right off 384 on main street is a great dealer. i bought my sunfire from them 4 years ago and when i bought it the car had a chip in the window they changed the window for free for me. we have also bought 2 trucks from them very good place try them.

warranty work, i have been getting a ticking/tapping/knocking sound from the belt side of the engine that comes and goes and is somewhat hard to hear because of the supercharger noise.

I took it back to crowley where I bought the car, needless to say the experience was god awful, they had the car for two days and when I came to pick it up they hadnt even looked at it yet, they start it, listen for half a second, nope nothing wrong have a nice day.

i start the car and get in and its making the noise so the guy gets very rude not only with me, but my mother as well, so we exchanged words and I left.

Bringing it to McDermott in east haven on tuesday, was chatting with their services manager this morning, seems like a nice guy.

Just a quick question. Does anyone here own a black SS/SC that's always up at the pike racing everything that moves? I think I've lit you up in the stock RL on about 14 different occations and I'd like to do one more on video if you're down for it.

Yup, someone find him and we'll have '04 RL w/K&N vs his whatever year SS/SC which is "no where near stock". He swears I have more than an intake, so I'll even let him look under the hood and measure the pulley if he needs to.
