yeahh ive already read about it mostly. just looking for the right person to do it. my cars just a automatic 2010 LT 2.2 so its nothing special. im just looking for a nice streetable tune to unlock whatever horses it has to unlock. just trying to amke it a little peppier lol and my main thing is to DEFF fix the poor throttle response. i was gonna get the shift plus but i rather get a tune. ya think im asking for to much?

 

krs does it but i'm willing to bet either me or 09cobaltss1(probably both lol ) will charge less and it's the same guy doing the tuning no matter what lol it all goes to vince from trifecta

and no i dont think your asking too much.. the tranny tune is the best part of tuning 2.2s lol

what mods do you have?

 

as of right now i have an Injen intake set up the cold air way not the short ram and i have a tsudo N1 catback. and this month i will be purchasing and installing a pacesetter header also. anything else i should maybe look into getting while im at it? and they quoted me $225 for the tune and theyll keep my stock file and all that. only reason im looking for someone local is so if i have to go in for warranty work i can just go to the person instead of having to get the thing shipped back out to me. wish it wer easier then that haha

 

Check out smg motoring. I live as far south east in CT As u can get and he's only an hr 20 from me. The more north u are the closer he will be

and if his username is correct he has a 2010 lt .. which isn't supported by hptuners

 

id say pm 09cobaltss1 to see here he is .. if i did the tune .. i'd send you the stock file so you can get reflashed by whoever has a trifecta cable..

that being said i'm pretty sure vince has found a way to steal tune all models

mhmm maybe if you can or i will but talk to vince and see if he can steal tune my car specifically. and obv by steal tune u mean like the whole cruise control thing so when u go in you just shut the tune off and theyll never know

and yeah ill find out where 09cobaltss1 is but im also game with you doing it if your willing too. obv sounds like its cheaper so im deff game. id like to deff talk more about it.

i took my g5 out of storage oh how i missed her. after 4 months of being parked she fired right up i still only drive it every now and then but man it is nice to drive it over my cavy lol.

i emailed him cus i was thinkin bout just getting the cable and be a dealer and that way i can help people out too and have it for myself but from what he told me all the cobalts have the stealth tune now. and if anyone doesnt believe me or needs proof ill dig up my email with him lol


i wunna do it soon. so within the next two months. im looking at buying a jet ski right now so cant this month and i still wunna get my header not that itll make a big diff on the tune. also tho how much is it gonna cost me. you can pm me if you dont wunna post it or something idk lol
