I'm going to call the shop again tomorrow. Last I talked to him a couple of days ago he was going to call me back with some more details and if the 20th or the 27th works better for him, but I'm yet to hear back. It looks like it's time for me to start being a thorn in the ass to get things moving along here.
**sigh**
Sorry for the delay on an update on this dyno day guys, but unfortunately I have YET to hear back from the dyno shop nor can I seem to get ahold of the owner since my last call into him on Monday. To say that I'm a little puzzled with the difficulty of organizing a dyno day this year is definitely an understatement. Between shops wanting WAY too much for a dyno day rental all of a sudden, and just not at all being receptive to the idea or offers, I'm honestly not really sure what to do at this point. None the less, I think it's pretty safe for all of you to assume that this will not be happening tomorrow 8/20.
Even though this was a pretty solid flop we DEFINITELY need to try to organize something before the end of the summer (dyno day or not) so we can all meet up and do something. I would personally rather do a dyno day with everyone, but if anyone has any other good ideas definitely post them up so everyone can discuss it.
Also, If anyone knows of any respectable proshops within the state that would possibly be interesting in hosting a dyno day by all means post up their info and I'll be happy to contact them to try and organize something. As for the one at J&M sometime this summer.... I'm really not sure if it's going to happen there at this point. I will put in yet one last phone call to him on Monday and go from there, but I'm not going to hold my breath for anything. Thanks for your patience guys.

When I owned a cavalier we rented out Hubbard park down by the waterfall for the day. Someone brought a portible grill then we hung out ontop of the mountain by the castle for a bit.
Good times
Or smg is always a good spot for a dyno day and Fred has had some good turnouts in the past

As far as the Hubbard park thing, that's actually not a bad idea at all. **** we can even incorporate some gokart racing like CTCar was thinking seeing as how On Track karting is literally 15 minutes away from Hubbard Park.
::the wheels in my head go round and round, round and round::
Yeah I'm right there with ya. Especially seeing as how I can't just pull up to any gas station and just fill up at any time..
