It's a 2008. Only 600 sold on the USA that year. It's a 6 speed manual. That thing is fast. From about 50mph hit the gas and it's gone. I played with my brothers sti we got on the highway and I was gone.

I just picked up a daily driver myself also. I was tired of the Cobalts bad mpg so I went with something a little more effecient.

Its a 2007 Continental GTC

pfft.. should have gotten something a little nicer than that pos. Being used to the quality and luxury of something as ravishing as a cobalt, hardly anything can POSSIBLY compare!

Ya tell me about it. the cobalt is just worlds ahead hahah. For real though, my dad just got it 2 days ago (he pretty much stole it compared to blue book) so I immediately had to come home today and drive it. Its at 5400lbs this thing is goddam fast. twin turbo w12 will do that though lol.

its the 2.8 V6 turbo 285hp 295torque awd. Im going to keep it stock right now. Might throw a intake on it so i can hear the turbo a little more. Just has a small sound when you step on it hard thats about it.

Gotcha man. Just be careful with CAI's on those cars. The ecms are setup sort of similar to the LNF in that they tend to not react all that well to intakes without a tune to compensate for the additional air coming in, plus on top of that there will really be no power gains once the ecm readjusts. Personally I would just stick with the stock air box until you're ready for a tune.

Ooh okay. This is my first turbo car so I'm not sure what I can and can't do with it yet. Learn as I go lol.

i heard they do burnouts like 80 feet long. Only near the intersection by PJD though. I ALSO heard, literally, that same color colbalts like to blow their exhausts apart at the joints at the same intersection. sounds like a hell of an intersection.

I've been searching around and I'm pretty set on the General G-max tires. They have a good balance of dry and wet traction, and my old tires the wet was horrible.

Also I saw on Facebook the UCONN show will be at Rentschler Field in East Hartford this year. Do we want to get a meet up going as usual? Or start a new thread for all the NE balts?

Seeing as how I for one reason or another never seem to make this freakin Uconn show I'll need to make a point to get there this year.

Just changed my oil and replaced the supercharger bypass valve vacuum lines. They were all cracking and the outsides were dry and flaking off.
