http://www.thetuningdoctor.com

I am working with him right with my car to get all the updates right for hptuners for the 2007's as it seems the PCM is different.

I don't know if he tunes Cobalt's or not I am just letting him use my car to get the pcm updates for hptuners (the company).

Try e-mailing him, he might plan on tuning them in the future.

There is a good bit of things out there to get. I would say definatly get the Pulleyboys 2.8" pulley for the GM Hub. An exhaust would be a good idea, too. Header, downpipe, traction/handling mods such as motor mounts, tranny mounts, springs, and a strut bar will help you get all that power to the wheels better too.

sorry i guess i was to broad.......i meant by a tune. What hardware do i need to connect to a dyno's hptuners? Do i need to buy some kind of cable? What's available to flash-wise for our cars? Whats the highest you could put a rev limiter up without damage and being out of the powerband?

My bad, didn't realize you meant by a tune. I'm not too sure about the HPTuners software, but I think it comes with a cable to connect, or you can buy it additionally on their site. The highest rev limiter that I have seen on a SS/SC was 7200 or 7300. BTW, Tune Time Performance (supporting vendor) in Central Jersey also tunes our cars using HPTuners.

hptuners is an all inclusive package...you'll receive the hardware, editing & scanning software, cables & enough credits to tune 4 pcm locked vehicles or unlock an unlimited year/group license & still have a couple of credits left over for whatever you'd like.

www.phoenixperformance.net Phoenixville, PA. Ask for Joe. They've done quite a few SS's with excellent results. Your tune will be safe and done right!
