well bracket racing.... how to describe/
Ok usually get one maybe 2 qualifying runs to get your dial in.... which is the time you think you can run consistantly.
You have to try and run identical times to the hundreth basically... so lets say you dial in a 13.79 other lane's dial in is a 13.86

you run a 13.75 but he runs a 13.81 you win since you broke out by the least.
Breaking out is the difference in time you run compared to your dial in.
I know I got my car set up for bracket racing after my last outing...
8 of 9 runs I went for consistancy and ran

hopefully I can keep that trend next time out, but I"m aiming for a dial in of 12.99, but we shall see what the weather is like

Paul you'd be the best to help us gauge what time to arrive there. It starts at 11 so I am assuming we'd want to be there early enough to make sure the cars are in running order, rent helmets for those of us w/o one, and just get into the track in general.

What you think? Leave at 7?

 

7-7:30 should be good, gotta get there real early before they open the gates so we don't get stuck in a 3 hour long line to get in. Figure leave early, stop and get breakfast when we get out there, and eat at the track

we usually meet either by my house or the gas station off the Cross island since it's on the way to the belt.... just let me know where you want to meet (I live right off the CIP too)

Just a FYI. You can only use a rented helmet if your car is slower than a 14.00 et. If your car is faster you need to buy a helmet from them for $120. So you may need to bring extra cash or plastic if your not stock.

got my new helmet in the backseat and slicks in trunk,. Just gonna need a spare car to come to hold my extra **** (jack, tools, stock rims) If anyone wants to come and not race you can drive my lincoln if need be
