So I'm in the Buffalo area for the weekend and I cannot believe just how many Cobalt's are on the road! It's quite amazing! This is definitely Cobalt land... My hats off to the Buffalo area Cobalt owners. I even saw a few SS's and those are rare by me. I've only seen two, not including my own.

Ok ecc memebers i need your help for some plans i have next year in may. I am organizing our own carshow and i will need help from memebers to run the show. people for judging, registration, parking and alot of other things. This carshow is going to benifit a foundation. All proceeds are going to GIVE KIDS THE WORLD. I have been working on a location, and working on getting sponsors and vendors. Im also working w/ kevin to get our sponsors to help out(national speed and Marine chevy). So if you are intersted in helping or coming please let me know. But please if you say your are coming please dont back out. cause im relieing on our memebers to make this run. and cant have people backing out. I will posting up more info as i get things going.


an example of what it will be:

1st Annual East Coast Cobalts Benifit Car Show for Give Kids The World
Sponsored by: National speed, Signature Flight support(my job)

cars/trucks: $20
Bikes: $10
spectors: $2
Vendors $50/$75
20 classes, 7 specitalty awards, peoples choice, club choice and best of show
Sound of compition, Hi/Low comp and a club tug-a-war.
50/50 raffle, door prizes and live DJ. maybe more.

So again i need ECC memeber to help staff this and if you know anyone that would be intersted in being a sponsor or a vendor please let me know

Im deff interested in helping out just dont want to give you a deffinate yess until a date is planned out because i will be going away to school in the spring buts its queens (St. Johns) and is only a train ride from house to pick up my car and head out to the show.

 

my date that im working w/ right now and looks very good is may 16th 2010. but i know its still ways away. but i dont want to wait unil a month before to get people and rush. i like to have **** planned out. if you know what i mean. but let me now. thanks man

the location and date is pretty much set. im just waiting on some sponsors money so i can get the place and insurance. but right now its looks like its may 16th at an old airport by me called stormville airport

im trying to find out when classes end for the spring semester since i will be going away to school . If It ends before the show which it should i will be in to help out however i can

 

good deal. im still working on this. its a ton of ******* work. sponsors are being the hard part right now.

 

i could probably make that show if its deff on a sunday. if not i cant, where is it going to be located? i will try and see if more people from around here will wanna go

 

yes it will be a sunday, the date im working with is MAY 16th and it looks like it will be at Stormville airport. its in the fishkill area. if your not sure. yeah if you know people that want to come that would be great. and if you know anyone that would be intersted in being a vendor or even a sponsor that would be great. let me know and i can give you the details.

 

ok i will ask around, and yeah thats not far at all for me to travel. i live about 30 minutes from fishkill. Im 80% sure i will b there depending on if anything comes up between then and now.
