East Coast Cobalts NY chapter
Im new to the whole cobalt scene, i used to be a honda guy, and my friend has an 06 SS and i swear he tuned that thing to give the "JIZZ IN MY PANTSS" effect. So i just recently bought an all stock 09 SS with the lowrise spoiler, im currently in the military and getting stationed in FT Drum, i was wondering how bad the snow is in the winters, and considering this would be my daily for a majority of the time, how well do they get around even with the snow

get snow tires. Up in fort drum area there is alot of lake effect snow and if you have to drive it everyday in the winter its just the smartest thing to do. I run a set of snow tires and wheels. I chose blizzaks on my car. Never failed me yet! even in 8in of untouch snow.

as far as getting the tires, tirerack is your best bet. Thats where got mine. You can either get them in the stock size and just switch tires back and forth in the spring and fall, or you can get a whole other set of rims like me and just do it yourself when you want to swap them. I run a set of Saturn Ion Redline rims with a spacer cuz they clear the brembo's but just barely. I run a spacer just to be safe. You can find a set of those wheels from time to time on this site in the parts for sale section. Or you can check ebay.
