this is correct, suspension mods and a little go fast parts made it all happen.. as for the driver, they picked out the best driver in the forums and flew him down. i would post a link to the mazdaspeed forums but its in the VIP section.

i would agree with a Cobalt SS/TC vs an SRT4 match!!!

heres the link to the VIP section. If youre not able to see it you would have to join and donate more than $5 to be able to view the VIP section.

ZZP might

Though what would they take, the LSJ or LNF?

Ok, so dude bring a Vette to the challenge, but brings it with a slipping clutch, what a *******. Makes it sound like hes making excuses.

Whos our autocross vendors that have a Cobalt ss/tc, OTTP?

I know pedders has a HHR SS, but it weighs 300 lbs more then Cobalt ss/tc.

The only fast cobalt is zzp? There are MANY faster srt4's out there.
There 500+hp srt4's on the forum all the time.
I mean look at that erabbit23 guy. He's the fastest 5 speed 4 cylinder out right now and drove it to the track and did an 9 second pass and drove it over an 100 miles back home

Now thats impressive

There are quite a few fast Cobalts on the forum. Venom09 who hasnt posted in a while is a champ on the autocross. The fast cobalts we have on the site usually range from 390whp-450whp. ZZP is the fastest yes..... 890whp cobalt SS.... crazy **** there.

The only reason the SRT4's have more cars making power is, the platform has been out awhile. Alot of aftermarket and testing available.
Plus there cars aren't a limited production run over 3 years.

Cobalt SS/TC 3k or less a year, then take out those people who don't mod there cars at all. HHR SS less then 3k a year and most owners don't mod no where as much as the Cobalt SS/TC guys.

Look what we have either came out with or coming out with this year alone, pretty impressive for the small market we have.

Now you guys want a fair comparison, take a stock Cobalt SS/TC vs. a stock NSRT4, Genesis, Mazdaspeed, etc.

Cobalt SS/TC>NSRT4 or any of those other cars in it price range.

Stock for stock the Cobalt is going to beat up on every single competitor in its price range in a forums war challenge.

Even some higher priced cars.

the car doesn't need to make crazy power if the driver is good and the car makes decent power it should be good, like most tuned tc's with a few bolts on should be fine, from what i heard that big power civic could not drive so it didn't matter it was 500 vs 290 and 290 took the cake.

but i totally agree amount genesis owners they think their cars are soooo cool slow POS

Well if you want to come to Texas or if I find myself in Alabama, I'd be more than happy to do a little run for fun, but you will be wasting your time and gas as I am not that fast.

You have the BNR k04-gt28 kit right? Bring it to the forum wars!

Then you need to invest your thousands of dollars into some companies and help them out in making the LNF faster.

One major thing I can think of off the top of my head is a new mechanical HPFP.

We already have a drop in tank electric unit.

I'd do it. Need help with the drag part, but the car's put down decent numbers. Shooting for high 11s this year. After a few shakedown runs to see what I'm looking at on an auto-x course I'd be game. Be perfect if you could use the same car, just swap drivers between the two events.

Yeah. I want to see that car on a race track that matters.
