Jeff Barnes Chevrolet in Sykesville. Request James. He did mine and my friends so he has 2 under his belt. He's the best mechanic they have.

Nice, thx man! I might put them on but let me know how the car drives unless you are not driving in between changing the sensors and your tune... the next day i have free to do the GMS1 is friday i think, or maybe the 24th. i have to check to see if my friend is busy again, if he is ill definitely be going to one of the mentioned stores!

i was told that you need to get the tune the same time as sensor install......and this is by the guy who tuned me. The gms1 pulls hard as hell, i haven't really messed with the trifecta 23psi tune yet.

I floored my car in 2nd after getting the tune yesterday and spun the **** outa the tires, was a blast

the hardest part is wireing up the sensor on the cold side pipe (pipe after the ic, below the engine), only because its so damn hard to get to...there is no room in there at all!! lol if you have time i would rather just take off the lower pipe so wirein is easier

nice, pulling hard sounds good to me! all my tools are at my work and im not allowed to bring personal cars to use the lifts sadly so if i were to put them on myself id be on my back outside in the cold... like i was today putting my catless DP on today! ...which sounds awesome btw!

was easy for me.....pulled the hargers off the rear, then unbolted the top 4 bolts on the dp, then the 3 at the back of the cat were cake (again with the bottom of the car 6' in the air though)
I put my catless dp on before i messed with the sensors

btw...3/8 impact gun FTW!!!

air tools are my best friend!! haha, i would have been done in 10 minutes if i had my air tools... but i did the 4 nuts up top and left one just barely on the stud allowing the exhaust to sag, then undid the 3 nuts to the catback. then she slipped right out, Cake

Also, i might have been one of the first people to get a recall performed on the ignition lock cylinder do to binding!!! apparently it was a new recall

its an easy install i just popped the hood crimped and sealed the crimps and wrapped the wire. drove it to GM for the tune and no codes thrown or abnormal operations, i dont recommend tromping on it but theres no problem driving it to the dealer for the tune. if a code is popped the install says for the dealer to ignore it. its definitely a tight squeeze but you dont HAVE to have any lift or jack.

^ where is the fun in that? I love having access to a lift, in fact I did an oil change on a members car today. Then changed the oil, balanced wheels and installed OTTP stg2 tranny mounts on another members car.

glad to hear that you are happy with it. I was driving tonight at about 45mph in 3rd, floored it and started spinning! gms1 is fun so far, i still haven't messed with my 23psi trifecta tune hardly at all

another recall??? I found out my car had the power steering motor replaced and a recall to "check and adjust front brake lines if needed" before I purchased it

yea, i looked online for info on the recall but it must be brand new because i couldnt find anything on it! they replaced my ignition cylinder and the number was recall #10256

also i let my dad drive my cobalt yesterday and he gave it maybe 3/4 throttle in the middle of second and spun pretty hard, got that good "wow, seriously?!" reaction from him he loves the car and he is 64!
