Does anyone go down to the first Garden state Parkway rest area and race or watch the races? Ive only been there once and one of my friends cut 3 donuts in front of a NJ state trooper, it was pretty crazy, I wanna see some more cobalts down there, I dont race just hang out.

 

I didn't know that was a hot spot for racing. IMO the GSP and the turnpike are not the best places to "race" because the trooper presence is pretty high, and troopers are a little more harsh than your neighborhood patrolman. Big roads like that are great for what I'll call spirited driving, but IDK if I'd want to draw too much undue attention to myself.

 

everyone goes there after you get kicked out of nanuet. that's a hot spot, especially when they shut down the entire parkway and line people up. The sickest place definitely to race is avenue p in newark. anyone ever been there besides me?

 

i've never had the chance all my friends go there i been wanting to... but after that huge bust they had there i seem a little scared to go there and try it out

 

I've never been to avenue p but wasn't there a big bust there a couple months ago? My friends left there like 30 minutes before it happened.

 

i've heard some crazy stories from avenue p.. youll never see me at these events though.. i would much rather like to keep my license.

Hah, I wouldn't be surprised. I've heard quite a few Ave P stories myself. Supposedly there's a Viper that visits there pretty often. We should have our next get together there! (as soon as I buy a bullet proof vest lol)

BTW memphis I saw you on the road last... Saturday I think. You were coming North on 17 near the Ford dealership and I was coming South. It was sometime inthe afternoon.. maybe 2-3 oclock?

 

The rest stop is not good any more. Cops know about it now.

I dont actually race there, I was there once and it was cool but all the drivers got loitering tickets when we got broken up ( luckily I decided not to drive)

Cobaltss56 do you go 2 nanuet frequently? I go sunday nights usually hit me up next time you go, I like to see what others are doing to their cars

 

Yeah man I was so bored that day. There was absolutely nothing to do. I just started to drive around. However, then I realized that gas prices are just going to sky rocket so I went home lol.
