I get lost too....Va. beach confuses the hell out of me....I never head over there unless its important. LilBlueSC and a few other guys are going autocrossing next sunday, 22nd out in Pungo. the site is www.autocross.us So far, I had the best time once and he has the best time last week. The others are a WRX, Evo IX, S2000, Spec-V. There are a few others but they haven't run auto-x yet.
Usually on saturday's we gather at the food lion just off 64 in norfolk and little creek road. Tonight its rainy...so I don't know who went out there.

i got my cobalt lt from Marty Amadon@ hampton chevy/mazad.(is this where you work @ adam?) it took him some doing but he got me the cobalt with the features that i wonted! i gave him a list of features that i wanted on my cobalt, 1 of them being fog lights- its a pain in the butt driving on the highway being blinded! fog lights helped out a lot! got a descent deal, wish i would have gotten more for my trade in '02 cav, but i m happy!!

 

Yeah, Adam works at that dealership. My cousin is working with him to, since I told him that if I would bring any customers his way.

 

when i decided that i was going to buy a cobalt, i called hampton chevy asking for the same salesman that i bought my '02 cav from. but to my dismay, he didnt work there anymore. so Marty picked up the phone and took care of me. would have been kind of neat if "adam" picked up the phone instead-would have bought a cobalt from him. while im on the subject of Hampton chevy/mazad, i ve seen a tricked out cobalt there. i asked Marty about it, he said it belong to some that worked there. does this belong to someone here? just wondering..... sorry i missed you guys tonight, how did the meet go? i ve got your # doc! you guys dont have any probs out there. i work at walmart in newport news, when we have car meets there-a mixture of tuner cars, our on duty police officer jumps in his potral car and chases everybody away! some really cool looking car out there to!

 

Not sure what tricked out cobalt you're speaking of, can you describe it perhaps? As for the meet, it went well. Doc and I were the only S/C's out there, and there was another cobalt out there from ***************. He was kinda an embarassment though. We pretty much hung out with the three Evo VIIIs that came out, those were just brutal cars. They're all sporting Direct Performance stickers, and they say they're sponsored, though I'm not sure if it's by DP or someone else, Doc would know. A lot of SRT 4's came out, quite a bit of Mustangs, and the Honda guys came out in full force, and by that, I mean in droves. They even did the ricer lineup when they parked, kinda funny. Hopefully we can get a few more Cobalts out there next weekend.

BTW, I checked out the road course out there in Alton, the full course is about 3 miles long, not bad, may have to go out there and see it up close before I spend 300 to go around.

 

$300....maybe if we got a few more people they would lower the price....

well sorry i missed the fun last night. you guys know that langly speed way has things going on during the spring and summer time. you can show off your car and even race them on the tracks-with admitions fees of course. something to think about

 

was there any stock cars out there? my car looks sporty, but thats about it though
