Hit a curb!

I hit a curb and screwed up my rim and bent a control arm! I am so pissed about this now. I can't even drive it because the front end is so out of alignment. Luckily I work at a garage so I can fix it a bit cheaper than full list on parts. Still sucks though!

Was picking up some dinner and a Tahoe was parked in front, was waiting for him to move, then he put on his flashers because he is parked there! I went around him and pulled into a parking lot next to where he was parked and turned the wheel too soon and hit a 6" curb! Basically I screwed up! I am just so pissed right now because I really can't afford this crap.

that sucks but it happens to the best of us. well it hasn't happened to me ever but i can see how easy it would be. i always leave about 6"-9" of space from the curb when i park. i've always had aftermarket wheels so i trained myself to be extra careful because repairs can be costly.

I know the feeling
I was on this narrow winding road that i take to/from work, and this guy is coming at me in the middle of the road so i moved over a little, well he didn't move and was still coming, so i moved over even more and BAM!!! My front wheel hit a sharp rock that was about 1.5 inches of the road, $250 for the control arm fix/repair, both right side wheels have nasty gouges so like $400 there, and a bunch of scratches on my fendor

Luckily for me the control arm will cost me only $132(from GM) and i can get it put on for little money. The rim i'm not sure about, may cost over $100 to fix(I know the guy who fixes them!).

I would like to but the weather has sucked so bad lately. Besides the monte has a couple of problems right now. The control will be here tomorow and the rim is being sent out tomorrow also.
