i see a hand full of cobalts down my way but none of them are on here. i say we do a meet this weekend.

 

Yeahh theres a few my way. And Can't do much this weeked. Finishing up my porch. Making it an all season room and what not. However, parts for the new motor are getting ordered this weeked. Also...I sitll have that TV....

 

haha, i'm thinking about it man. money is tight right now. i'm considering going all pioneer, just upgrading everything. i'll let you know, i might be at the track tomorrow night.

stop being such a jew matt, haha. for some odd reason i just keep buying performance parts (hurst short shifter & TTR tranny bushings).

 

I don't blame you for buying the performance stuff haha. If I had an SS/SC thats what I would do. Just ordered some of my parts today (bearings, connectings rods, and hydrolic pumps). Tom at Crate Engine Depot is the ******* man! Thats all I have to say haha.

Still need to order the valve train, studs, and gaskets....thats the one tahts gonna hurt the wallet lol

 

oh yea, that's going to hurt alot. what are you building up? the cobalt or something else? yea i'm actually saving up for some rims & front grilles and some engine & interior dress up pieces. i have some big shows coming up soon for my car and i need to add some parts quick.

 

Im building up the cobalt for Turbo. Going to order the rest of the parts this weekend. Then the motor will be built and put in, after that im just going to wait till tuning for the automatic comes out. So you better watch out when it does :-P haha

 

bring it on man, i should be in the mid-low 13s by the time you get that thing done. that is if my money keeps coming in good & i can find a way to get traction. i'm working between 10-15 hours a week overtime and trust me, my paychecks have been looking very nice. it is practically every week i'm buying something for my car, but because i have shows i am buying exterior and interior mods for points. this winter i am definately doing a hood, front fenders & lambos.

Ehh...My car sucks cobalt racer...its slow as *****. lol. But there are some nice ones in de. And can't doo too much of a meet. Gotta finish my porch up then pick my dad up at 7 from the airport :-(

 

oh ok, well maybe we can do a meet next weekend. i just have some shows coming up over the next month so my weekends will be busy. hey ORT do you want to buy my lightweight crank pulley? just a thought, i'm selling a bunch of things now.

 

I won't be able to meet today, have another meet in northeastern part of NJ. Dunno where I'm go'n atm, so not sure on how far/time I will have to spend today. Was gonna try to color my calipers, or headlight assem tomorrow, but I can postpone those if we can get some ppl together on Sunday. Not sure on how many can do it, so maybe meet somewhere for food and just oogle over each others whips?
