I hate Ford
i got laid off today. my boss came up to me, and said he had no problems with me, and he was happy with my work, but business is getting really slow and the owners pockets are getting thin. so therefore i get fucked. i have bills stacking up, and now no money coming in. if anyone knows somebody looking for a parts man, or general warehouse work. please let me know. as of today im looking for another job. hopefully i can find something within the next 2 weeks, or the cobalt is gone. what a fucked up state this is. I HATE NY

Not to be nosy, but what do they pay their Ford parts guys up there? I'm working in a Ford/Mazda/Kia parts room right now and need to get the hell out of there... Anyway, I'm making **** money and just wonder if it's the same everywhere...

I hate Ford too... Sorry to hear that man... I know gm was looking for a parts manager a few weeks ago somewhere in L.I. It was in the paper... good pay too.

sorry phil..**** sucks. ford does suck.. i do agree. u have a chevy go work at one..i totally would 2 but i dont have the experience like you do. oh best buy car audio installer..lol. i def want to get into something like cobalt addiction, bu its mad hard just to get into those jobs. hmmmm. hows the car rollin man? we all gotta get up to DPA this weekend...last fri/sat. sucked *****, damn rain.

did you get a leeway time before you have to leave or are you officially out of a job like right this day. i always wondered that... cuz u have to give 2 weeks notice to leave a job but do they give you notice when they're "letting you go".
