i handed out an ass whooping last night to a goofy kid in a new altima coupe. LMFAO. he had a fart cannon, and he said a "chip" maybe he meant a tune. at any rate it didnt help him..
he should have just left me alone
he was revving at me on the highway, and i rolled down my window and asked if he needed directions
then he told me about his mega awesome mods.
i dont think he would have been competition for a stage 2 cobalt.. just a heads up, slay the red altima coupe with the fart cannon.

That camera doesn't do it justice. It's deeper and less raspy in person, but it is what it is. A 4-cylinder. Hence, the muffler I'll be putting on for daily driving...
Here ya go Chevysalesman....

Yea, we found one that we went to look at. Burgundy, intake, exhaust 2.8 pulley. Only problem, used to have line lockers and well, you know where that goes. It had a huge thump when taking off in 1st and turning both left and right, and the upper motor was ticking hardcore. Was louder then the blower wine..

What would the ticking be from?

My guess would be something regarding the valve train. It got incredibly noticeable when the RPM's were over 1500.

If I were you, I definately wouldn't go too crazy. Just a little bit here and there to clear casting flashes and even out flow. Don't remove a lot of material from anywhere on the blower. Just try to port-match the TB and blower inlet, clear flashes and smooth out inside, and just barely touch-up the outlet...

Honestly, I don't know. Matt can have anything done. For something like that, he might send it out to the machine shop because of the tolerances.

Honestly, I bet Matt would say to not even bother. There are plenty of other things to worry about modifying before you need to start porting the blower. But that's just my opinion...

Wouldn't a mild prot keep the temps down a bit + Help that blower max it's efficiency. (+ help that blower scream) I might just end up having my dad do it a bit. He's a machinist so we'll see. I wanted a 2nd blower to doit 2 but now with all ther **** I will want to have Matt & Co do, i have to start watching my spending.

I've been talking on and off w/ Arnie from Eaton, and we've come to the conclusion that a very, very mild port would be fine. Just be careful that you don't remove too much material. Doing so will completely fudge up the efficiency.
