Back in the late '80s I had a two man patrol car roll up on an accident I was involved in in the North Ward and a patrol man by the name of Anthony Ambrose started to make insinuations that myself and the people that were with me were drinking in the car and disposed of the bottles over some fence nearby... Then started talking **** that one of my friends was acting like he was under the influence of a narcotic. I did exactly what my father instructed me to do in such a situation (he was a cop at the time), I locked the keys in the car on his ass and called dad for the spare... Ironically this pinhead is today the Police Director in Newark...
Rule #1 NEVER give consent to a cop to search your car (or your residence for that matter) NEVER, EVER, EVER!!! Throw the keys in the car, lock and slam the door shut! While he is calling for a warrant you call for a lawyer... I know too many people (most of them in Newark) that fell victim to overzealous douche bags getting creative with dumb **** like flashlights, tire irons, pocket knives, etc. You might have something in your car that you think is no big deal and the next thing you know you are getting cuffed for it...

i would never lock myself out of the car up there lol cuz god forbid the cops say **** it and leave...then im stranded out of my car and in a very unsafe situation. I'd just lock the doors and put the keys in my pocket.
I always have a way to get into my cars without a key...
BTW, I avoid Newark NJ like AID's!!!
