I got the same virus a few weeks ago unless you turned off you computer completely right away without moving the cursor over that window (or you clicked on that window) you are infected and there are no current anti virus software that can recogized and properly remove the virus completely if it is the same one I got.

Hey guys - I know this came and went but I am renting some time at Performance Specialties in Pottstown with a buddy to tweak our cars and was wondering how your experience on their dyno was. Thanks.

Very well, I have no idea how their tuning abilities are tho. What kinda car and are you tuning it yourself?

Awesome. The tie downs were adequate? I saw some videos online and it looked like only the back of the car was tied down but I am not sure how it works. I am sure they're the professionals but you know, always good to ask.

Its actually a pair of turbo BMWs. One is a built motor 2.8+L with 76mm turbo, the other is a built motor 3.2L with GT3582R. We do our own tuning, just want to make pulls. The one car is having its motor pulled due to oil leaks after the dyno, new larger motor going in over winter.

Sounds fun, think my next project toy is to gut/track an e36 m3. Theyre pretty cheap now.

What blocks are your motors, S, M, N?

Mine is an M50 block with a 2.8L crank, eagle rods w/ wiseco pistons. Though the motor I am building is an M50 block with an S52 crank (3.2L) with undersized wiseco pistons and K1 rods for 3.0L.

The other car is a S52 with S52 crank and CP pistons and manley rods.

Cool yea, we ran the Banana there and that put down 470whp. Their tie downs were adequate!

The car is 100% stock block and that was the first trip on the car since the build as well lol. The car easily has 500whp in it, once he fixes some cooling and tire issues, we'll crank her up a lil bit more

They strapped 2 on the back and 2 on the front, they do a lot of high HP Mustangs and ****, they know how to strap it down. Just stress you have some real HP and please strap it well.

Man I am very interested in the numbers the S52 is going to put down, I am guessing you are expecting ~420whp at least? Did you put the kit together yourselves or you buy/base it off of on of the companies out there?

Thanks - thats what I want to hear! I am sure he will strap it down in the front once he sees the setups. I was just nervous because hes close and convenient but wanted to make sure it was good. He seems to have been in business long and was nice to talk with on the phone - I hope it'll be fun.

Both cars should do over 600 hp. The S52 dyno'd 540 rwhp or something before turbo cams. The cams are billet made and have a unique profile that is optimal for the setup. The spool is instant on that motor. I would be surprised if it didn't click over 575 - 600 rwhp.

The "M52" should do well also - stock non variable head though. We're just going for a last-hurrah on this motor before I take it apart. The M52 car has a better intake than the S52 and a 4" exhaust vs S52 w/ a 3" exhaust, but we'll see what happens. I would LOVE to see 650 - 700 hp, but I know that the tune would have to be dead nuts on to do it. I street tuned the car at 22 psi, might crank to 30 - 35 for the dyno (5 bar map sensor).

Here is an image of the S52 setup:

And the "m52" setup:
