looking to move up to pa
Western PA and Eastern PA seem like night and day to me. I'm from Western though. The area is good if you’re a little older (30+), have yourself established, and enjoy things a little more laid back. It is definitely not an area geared to the 20's crowd. There also aren't many low-mid range jobs floating around this area. Most young people leave to seek a start elsewhere, but this also makes it more laid back and relaxing if you are older.
I have traveled the country, but all in all I would never live anywhere else. Pittsburgh doesn't stand out in anything, but it has everything. There are no cons just incontinences honestly. It is a great all around area with great people. Any possible con you would find here you will find anywhere. The only thing that really stands out is road quality, but that is part of our pros. We have more roads than most areas plus almost all of our roads even in remote areas are paved. So, yes they get bad; however, it is only because we have so many to care after.
We have no natural problems here either. Maybe a blizzard every 10 years and even those don’t stop us long. If you mean Eastern PA, have to ask someone else. If you want to know anything else about Western ask away.
