Sup, I'm bored as hell and a friend and I are looking for some places to go urban exploring. We're on Long Island so anywhere like an hour or two in any direction (NJ, PA, CT) is what we would be interested in. In case no one know what urban exploring is Wiki link. We know of places on LI like camp hero, and the old missile silo's but not much beyond that. Any tips are welcome.

i was going to say the same thing with that long island oddities web site. But yeah thats r best bet. But if your really looking to explore....

At the Kings park psyh center, there is actually a HUGE set of underground tunnels that go all around the whole town of kings park. My proffesor told me about it and how they use to sneak in there and go explore. They're are many many ways to get into this system butmostly from old buildings like the pysch ward, youd need to somehow get into one of these buildings and find the door that leads to these catacombs. Google it because i dont know alot about it im sure you can find out more.

Yea i've heard a lot about that place. In recent years the cops and security have tightened their grip on it because people steal all the copper pipes and anything else worth scrapping, and there is the danger of asbestosis everywhere!
