I know I'm at least at a 13.6, I'm shooting for a sub-13.5, and widowedeight is a SS/TC and will hopefully be tuned, so he'll own someone. And He said about bringing a buddy of his with a 400hp RSX, so he'll own some of the fanboys too.
hope to see you their man.

good deal, yeah, don't sweat it. trust me, every nice day we've had I scramble to get stuff accomplished... the stuff hasn't been coming in the mail, though...lol.
I It doesn't matter if you're a 2.2 or a turbo swapped 2.0. We'll have a good time and it'll give you a good baseline to judge future runs off of.

I never got a clean run with the DR's on. I lost my job back in Aug. I'm working now but back then I had to scramble for that cash money man. With DR's it should knock off at least 3 tenths of a second. I'm guessing I could of ran around a 13.2 judging by my 2.1-2.2 60fts on street tires. With DR's on I would of been cutting at least 1.9 60ft.s Possibly a 1.8. For every tenth of a second I gained on the 60ft. I gained double that in the 1/4th mile.
For example:
Street Tires:
2.2 60ft. 13.6@108 mph
BFG DR's
1.9 60ft. 13.0 @ 106 mph
That is about what it would look like. It is possible to lose some mph, but that does not mean your slower. You are just covering more ground quicker because of less spinning the tires.
As for the stock axles, it really depends on the driver, and the car. If you have anything more then stage II with bolt ons I would advise on having axles with DR's . Slicks are even harder on the axles and drive train. If you have motor mounts and tranny mounts it makes it harder on the tranny and axles also. I have never broke an axle. I think the way you drive on DR's is going to determine how well your axles hold up. Don't let slack on the tranny and suddenly gun it. Keep the tires under a small amount of load before launching, this will help things from not breaking.

I never ran into a ss/tc on the road period. I wanted to test drive a new one at the dealer and never did.

WOOOOOOOOO CECIL county rocks the socks off you'll! Time to go get my plate for the cobalt and get it inspected. This Saturday there will be a new owner of a SS/SC! Well, that is if they like the test drive and great detail work Roadrage is going to do.
