the DI issue has been brought up before so i have always been a little leery
basically i was told if i am using it as a strictly as cooling agent just to get my temps down almost like running a different intercooler then i should be ok, but if i am trying to run it for the sole purpose of trying to get gains and run more timing than i shouldn't do it

 

my bad dude i didn't expect to have to do that last night and since i fractured my wrist i couldnt do it. on a side note being catless now rocks

 

Got my muffler put on and it sounds like ****. Super loud even at idle so I brought it back with a Magnaflow 2.5 inlet/outlet and told them to throw it on. Hopefully the stock tip fits or Im gunna have to track one down.....ruined my whole day with this crap.

 

What muffler did you put on

 

Its on the previous page, some random fart can. I just wanted to get rid of the rasp. I knew better than to get a muffler like that so it's all my fault.

lol thanks, I just hope they are done with the car soon and it's quieter. There was no way I was going to show up tomorrow to the meet with that loud ass pipe on there.

Got the new muffler done, sounds a lot quieter than the **** ass can muffler. Still a little raspy but it has all of 4 miles on it so it didn't even get warm yet. Best part of it all is the guy didn't charge me to put it on, bill was for $83 and he cleared it out. Bad part is im out $180 for the other muffler and install....lesson learned now time to save for the Corsa.

hey man, are you working next friday (the 11th)?
if so I might have to come see you. My radio was just replaced @ bob bell chevy a few weeks back and the volume level and chime are all f#cked up. I took it back there and they told me that it is normal and there is nothing they can do.
I went to koons chevy today and explained it to them (i used to work there btw). The shop foreman and service advisor both said it sounds like it was programed wrong and that they couldn't touch it because bob bell already worked on it.
Its pissing me off that i took it back to bob bell already and they blew me off...even though i f#cking work there, and another dealer is blowing me off too.

if you can help me out i'd appreciate it

sooo, wasn't too bad installing the intercooler and charge piping on mike's car today

 

if we could of took our time it would of been better... lol. I didn't go over 5 psi all night though... kind of surprising... Also anyone interested in trading a stock ss/tc exhaust for my muffler-deleted ss/tc exhaust? I'm trying to get Steve to but he's unsure. Or do you guy's think i should keep my exhaust.

 

ill sell you my ss/tc exhaust for....$100, it has a upgraded resonator and a megan racing muffler on but ill give you the muffler wit it lol. im tryin to get rid of this damn thing
