dam thats ******* good. so much less frustrating than my prep for painting my wheels. although i did only probably spend a total of 50 bucks.

 

still didnt get my car back

Took me about an hour and a half to prep just one, I did 2 and sprayed them and the clear just wouldn't get inside the wheel. The faces looked as smooth as glass but the 045's are too tight for me to spray without a smaller touch up gun.

I didn't get a picture between the spokes but here is the face of them (and those are clouds you see in the reflection, not blemishes in the paint):

 

that looks alot better than the flat black that they came in

 

When I put it next to the original paint color it made them look like a flat gray, I like the gloss waaayyyy better.

 

^yea, i guess its a "dark grey" but not quite black lol

 

i like that they all one color i hate the machined lip on them, i wanna get a glossy clear coat

 

Once these are done I have to do tires, exhaust and coilovers....I need to get on that free $ list!!
