timing chain assembly
front cover assembly (oil pump)

head studs

there may be more, i can't remember. estimated cost (i got tons of deals because i'm special) is around $1600 for parts. because GM voided the warranty i had to pay the dealership $600 because GM had them take off the head for inspection to see what caused the issues. not sure what labor will be from the shop it's at now.
Hmm I know a story like that one but it was #2 piston and the tech was the one that got fucked not the owner

you can get a low mileaged LNF for $2200, it would save you a lot of time and labor cost. the only reasons i didn't do that is because i have some connections.

check out the link i just posted.

labor cost to take apart, inspect & then reassemble your engine would be thru the roof.

i'm going to highly recommend that you find a low mileaged engine and swap that in.

then you can sell your engine to someone who wants to take it apart and do a built engine for their race car.

I'll check it out to see what comes up but I'm dropping off the motor apart the places around me are pretty reasonable and know a lot of people that have had good work done

I have looked @ their site. I know as a Nissan dealer employee I can get it for $1,000 under invoice....bob bell has them cheaper on their website than my discount would even be lol. gonna shop around for a deal. carmax has them for about the same price as bob bell but they wont pay off the trade from what i hear (if you owe more than they give you)
