yeah you do... on crutchfield they tell you the 'install' and it says to drill
on best buy they tell you to have best buy do it... $$$ aka they will prob drill themselves or soemthing

you really shouldnt have to drill anything as long as go with the same size as whats in the car now. but if you change sizes then you might have to drill

 

i need a smarty pants to go to best buyw ith me or something. unless my dad wants to do the job im just lost... this si not my area of knowledge at all

 

ok so i have done some looking into and if you dont have the pioneer system then yes you will have to drill out the old speakers. sorry, let me try and get ahold of my buddy and see what kinda prices i can get for ya
