Hey everyone.. I'm a new Cobalt owner and I don't see enough of these cars around.. I'd like to meet up with other owners and show off our cars.. The Cobalt really is one of the nicest looking cars I've seen and I'm looking to meet up with other owners. Let me know if anything's going on - -

I won't be getting off until 10 tonight.. I work in Piscataway (about 20 minutes from Fudruckers).. Would anyone be interested in meeting up let's say 10 or after? You name the place and I'll let you know

If anyone's interested in meeting up tonight I'm down.. I've only seen a few other Cobalts in the area.. I saw a nice dark blue SS on 287 the other day around Edison

 

Well turns out my friend is having an impromptu birthday party this evenings.. one of these days in the near future I want to meet up.. The Saturday afternoons are bad for me (I work from 1-10)

 

If you want to drive up North we could get together. A month or two back 3 other cobalts and I had a meet at Rutt's Hutt in Clifton.

 

I'll tell you what.. If you'd want to meet up in Clifton tomorrow night I'd be game. I'm up that way all the time.

 

Just one thing.. I get off at 10 on weekends so if anything's happening tomorrow night it would be around 11.

 

PJ, what model cobalt do yo uhave?

 

LT coupe... Same looks as the SS without the huge spoiler. first new car I've ever owned.. I never even thought of buying a Cobalt but they had one on the lot and I fell in love.. I'm looking at upgrading to an SS in 6 months or so when I've got some positive history with GM and I don't have to spend $400 a month on one.

 

Do you have anything done to it?

 

Not yet.. I've had the car for a few weeks.. I am thinking of doing rims.. Don't want to go bigger than what I have because I actually have a great set of Pirellis on them... I like the spoiler on my car (it's similar to the SS spoiler but it's about 2 inches lower to the car..).. I think it looks great on the car especially with the way the back of the car rises. I was thinking of getting my hands on the (I forget if it's RK or RI..damn it-brain fart) lip style spoiler..
Speaking of doing work, I have my system ready to be installed.. I can't figure out how to get into my head unit.. I don't want to start messing around and getting it all fucked up. Is there anyone here that knows how to successfully install an amp?? I have no problem paying you for your time if you truly know what you're doing.
These are some of the reasons I want to meet up.. There are things I want to do to my car.. I want to get ideas and hear about other Cobalt owners experiences (not to mention show off our beauties).

 

PJ....bein as you said your up in the clifton area alot..we should try and arrange a meet tuesday night by rutts hut..i beilive that is car night over there and wednesday is bikes..but if people are free we should get a meet or somehting going

 

Sounds like a plan... I'd like to come up... I get off of work at 12 on Tuesday so I wouldn't even get up there until quater to 1. Wed or Thurs would be good days for me since I'm off.. Who the hell knows.. I live in Piscataway, about 45 minutes south of Clifton (5 miles in from the southeastern shore of Staten Island).. Taking a ride doesn't faze me at all - Newark/Clifton is a hop for me.

I work 3:30 to Midnight during the week - 1-10 weekends. Rutt's Hutt on Wednesday can work for me -I'm off.
