Need Help From The Community...

I'm sure you all know my situation with the JBP cams and valve springs. After everything I've seen, the cams seem to be just fine and will be a decent application. The valve springs, we're not quite sure about yet. Trying to avoid the 10+ hours of labor charges required for someone to take my head off and re-install it, I'm contemplating taking it off myself and reinstalling it after the machine shop cleans it, inspects it, tests the springs and reassembles everything. Oh, and did I mention they're doing a 5-angle valve job on it...

Well, I've got copies of the build book and whatnot, but I'm still worried about getting the timing right when I reinstall the head. Basically, I'm looking to see if anyone who has experience disassembling and reassembling the LSJ would like to meet up and help me out. I really don't know what else to say. I don't have anyone that can help me here in Albany since I've only lived out here a few years and don't know anyone with enough knowledge to help me. My friends out in Syracuse who have the knowledge are super busy building a few cars for shows over the next few weeks and can't afford to do charity work for two and a half weeks at the earliest. I don't want to spend $700-$1000 to have this thing worked on by someone who doesn't know the engine. I'd rather just risk it myself, because I have the build book, time, patience and a garage to park my car in while it's disassembled. I'm looking to start working on it Saturday morning and have the head off so I can drive it to the machine shop in Syracuse Sunday. If I can get it to them this weekend, I can go pick it up next Friday night and reinstall everything Saturday and Sunday (if needed). Just looking to see if anyone is up for helping out...
