Yea that's what I was thinking about doing. 'Cause from the rest stop it's about 7-8 hours. I'm thinkin everyone meet there around 830am too.

 

That's a good time.

The trip is pretty cheap money wise too. With the low room rates, gas and tolls it should only cost me about $120.

that would be good and if we can be out of there by 9am ish. we should be good with traffic around washington. and i'll bring my 2 walkies and see if i can pick up some cheap ones somewhere. its good to have for making pit stops along the way and in case some ones gets behind. and of course the cop watch.LOL

 

I'll swing by walmart and pick up a pair. I think we should all do this. Better form of communication!

Okay, so should I set in stone to meet at the reststop by 830? Then we can wait around til 9 or so and leave? I'll try to make up a list of who we should be expecting so we'll know who's missing. Between all of us we should have 90% of the people coming's cell numbers in case someone's running late.

I'll whip out my Vtec yo haha.

So what walkies should we get and what fq should we look for when we buy them? They don't have to be the best ones ever since we should all be fairly close together the whole time

 

i think thats what we should do. so everyone know when they need to leave to get there on time. would save some headache on meeting in 5 places and people wanting to leave at differnt times. by the way my cell is 845-629-7251 if you need to text me or call for anything

as or the radios, if we get the small hand held radios and be on the same channel we should be fine. but on second thought i found a set at walmart for about $35. a few of us should jump on it and pick it up. i think that is what im going to do. here is the link to the set i am talking about. they have a 18 mile range and alot of channels. i think these would work very well for us and not expensive. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ndingMethod=rr check it out..
