I belive you have to have a signed slip from your parents stating that you can run the quarter mile if your 17 and under.

 

not at raceway park...i have ran an number of times when i was 17....you should have no problems

 

My friends keep telling me you have to have a slip signed by your parents if your 17. They also say, however, that they never get carded. (jeese, it feels like im buying alcohol, I was actually thinkiing of buying a fake id to say I was 18 too just for the track lol)

 

yea you definitely don't have to...you only need permission if you are on a permit and 16 years old

Went to the shop. My car should be done by tomorrow. So it looks like I will be showing up to Englishtown with my cobalt and another cobalt (and srt4, couple of evos, 2 gtis). Cobalt443, I will take your advice and try to run. If not, I will just spectate. I need to find a video camera though.

Rutts Hut is down 46, past the Coconuts, right after PC richards.......if we had people comin from all over we could even meet at willow brook mall, bigger parking lot...turn more heads

 

Rutt's Hutt sounds like a plan then. Maybe we should start a new thread just devoted to this meet we're starting to organize.

 

I'm up for a meet soon. I can't go to one next weekend though because I have the track to go to and a play. But we should set one up two weekends from now (the weekend of the 31st which is a friday). I like the willowbrook mall. Big parking lot. Also, Hooters is right next to the mall so we can always go for wings. Damn I love their wings.

 

that willowbrook mall idea is good and the hooters idea afterwards if even better. good wings, nice lookin broads

 

What about the beer??? Can't forget that for those of us who would like to indulge....

We should wait till it's a bit warmer out too, Not this crazy warm/cold weather!

 

Hopefully it'll be a bit warmer weekend after next, if anything we can just postpone it if its raining or freezing, etc.
