I don't know if anyone else on here went last year but its coming back.

For anyone who didn't go here's what the last meet was like.

I'd love to go too, why is it that I only spotted 2 cobalts through out the whole video? :-(

Red supra is sexy though.. whoever made a video did a pretty good job and nice music to go with it

 

There was only 3 cobalts I saw there but there was 2500 cars in that parking lot not including all the small ones around we filled. I don't have any details yet but my friend who is part of the group that runs it said its in the works.

 

Did you guys get any crap for doing it in a public parking lot and not being paying customers?

 

Well that night we got kicked out because the building supervisors were there and some idiot kicked a cop. We tried to do one in October at a larger parking lot expecting over 3,000 cars but county sheriffs showed up at my friends house a few days before telling him if he didn't shut it down he would be arrested.

 

Not familiar with laws in NJ but that doesn't sound right. Why not arrange this somewhere with permission? Even better do it as a fundraiser have everyone donate a dollar or something and submit it to charity... the fact of it being a fundraiser will be a big plus when asking for permission to use someone's lot.

Just a couple of ideas, you know..

 

well we had someone walk around with donations for the town and they gave them to the police as an apology the next day but they were pissed one guy who owned a store there got a ticket on his evo because they thought he was there for a meet and it was the next week. I did talk to my friend today though all he could tell me is its gonna be more of a show then a meet and is going to be in a parking garage.

 

Last year looked like a lot of fun. I'll definitely try to be there this year pending day.

 

depending where this is i may check it out, and the parking garage ideas is awesome but i've been in and out of one in my car and my exhaust scraped pretty good on the way up and my front valance scraped as well as the exhaust on the way down so i'm not sure how cars even lower than me would make out... just some food for thought

 

im down. there used to be a meet in edgewater every thursday (by the starbucks and right off the hudson river) that had a showing like this all the time. It was awesome and lasted a couple years. I think they moved it to parsipanny which is what was here. Went there a couple times, none last summer though.

 

there was always small meets there and all of a sudden it was a few hundred cars more every week till we got to about 1000. then the next week was the video. its actually the same parking lot where NEPT tuned us.

 

ohh nice, keep me updated. sounds like fun for a thursday in the summer. i know a bunch of guys that would come out (ranges in all makes/models)

i'm in for details and i'm a hell of a lot closer then you guys! PSU is a 3 hr drive and i live right on the PA/NJ border

 

^ hahah. Well, it will depend mostly on where at in NJ it is. it would have to be decently close to family we have that way and be worth it lol

the video is from the Parsippany Mega Meet and the next one is being planned by the same people. As for details like I said before ill I was told is parking garage and show knowing them they are probably getting paperwork from a company allowing us to be there so its official
