NJ Tinting

Can anyone in or around NJ (preferably northern NJ) recommend a good place for me to get tints done? I'd love a low price, but I'd rather pay for a quality job than get a bad one. Also, how dark do you guys think I should go with the tints? I have a black sedan with chrome grill, door handles, and side moldings. I don't want to go dark to the point of illegality, I just want to help keep the UV rays out of my car during the summer and give my car a better appearance.

I would recommend a place but it's in central nj (edison) also...since you have a black car (and most likely dark interior) I would recommend 50% only because since your car is dark to begin with it's automatically going to make your tinit look darker. We did 50% on the goat and it looks alot darker...

Its actually the neutral interior, so its like a sand/khaki kind of color. What place do you like in Edison? That's only a half hour or so drive from where I am.

Yeah Zippos is good. My friend used to work there and used to get a lot of stuff for free. I've never taken my car there, but from what my friends say, zippos is pretty good. I don't know how much they charge though.

i just got my tints done in nanuet..its like 5 min off the parkway when u get in NY. i paid 200 bucks and they back their work if something goes wrong wit there tint, but i dont know how long they back their work for. i went with 20% all around and its dark but during the day isnt to bad. i know your allowed anything in the back and nothing on the front windows, so its your call what you wanna go with.

Damn, 200 is expensive. Hey man haven't seen you in a while. There's a meet that might be held this saturday. It's in the regional forums. I might go if I don't have work.

I have no clue, check the North East section. A location isn't talked about so I guess whoever posts up a location first.

Does anyone know how much Zippos charges for tints?

Adam, are you looking to get tints done? Maybe some place would offer a discount if we brought both of our cars there.

By front do you mean just the windshield or would that also include my two front windows as well? (I have the Sedan)
