nah, leaving it in L will have the trans go from 1 to 2, and i need 3rd to make a dyno pull. lol. and putting it in I will have it in 2nd and 3rd, and once it shifts into 3rd and you try to punch it it will jump down to second to make the power back up.

is this ok for ss/tc cars?

I am still learning all about stuff. I am def wanting to go with trifecta or hp tuners... can someone explain difference? I would be using stock intake with k&n drop in, charge piping, and catless dp with stock catback

yup it's actually going to be mostly ss/tcs it looks like

as far as the difference between trifecta and HPtuners.. someone with hptuners will sit in your car and do it .. aside from that they're both custom tunes.. hp tuner tunes tend to be more expensive though

Thanks for the reply. I am about to pick up an SS/TC this weekend I think.

When are we looking to do this tuning thing (date?)

And also, what about if I add a cai later, or a downpipe.. does it have to be retuned and what do I do for that?

DP no but CAI it MIGHT because 90% of the intakes out there seem to be skewing the maf reading some dont though.. most notably the hahn intake REALLY screws with things.. i'd recommend maybe just doing the ZZP intake mod as opposed to getting a true intake .. that way it shouldnt throw anything off or just getting a K&N drop in

as far as tuning date thats up to you guys i've listed when i cant do it .. but other then that i'm game i figure mid august beginning of september..

I'll be going away for 1 week at the end of august so you guess bring the dates and locations out and i'll look it over

You have any proof of that statement on the hahn intake???/ beside what term2 posted. I've logged quite a few cars with their intake and didn't see anything "all screwed up". At most the fuel trims were only off by max of +1.1-1.5 or so.

elec, I'm thinking of just going trifecta .... would you be able to tune me for the CAI I have coming in from CIA??? It won't be on by 8/1 since it'll be shipping out next week, but I'll have my DP and charge pipes on.
