I already ordered parts for the rebuild. I'm giving it to a friend in NH to bore it .010" over and port the head. Between that and the 2.9 pulley on the TVS it should be an interesting ride when it's done.

I just got a H2O/Methanol injection kit, Front Mount H/E and the equivalent of a CA stage 4, tune, injectors, and Pulley. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for installation or just any helpful info, it would be much appreciated.

What's up man? The HE is easy, just don't cut up the stock hoses too bad because you can re-use some of the 90* bends to keep it from kinking. What meth kit did you end up getting? Fender mount or trunk mount? The install of a stage kit is easy, just make sure to do the crank relearn and to take your time with the pulley so you don't damage anything. Let me know if you need help, if you're still around the H2O area.

I got the Devils Own DVC-30 Stage 2 with the trunk mount. I've got a guy coming up from Buffalo to help me put it all on this weekend so hopefully between the two of us we can get it all on. Do you know where i might be able to get a pulley puller? Or do I even need one?

I can't remember if you had stage 2 or if you were stock. I don't have a pulley puller, you can probably rent one from ZZP or OTTP if you have the stock pulley. I'd look in to that now so you can actually have it in time for Friday.

Just stock. Is a pulley puller the only way to get a pulley off?

Yea dude, without it you are pretty much screwed. OR, you can take the S/C off and take it to the dealer and have them take the old pulley off and press the new one on.

It just looks tacky IMO.

As for the pulley yes you need a puller. Have someone else do it, it is SUCH a pain in the ass to do.

There you go, cheaper than renting a pulley puller. YZ, PM me if you want my number, just in case you want an extra set of hands.

Not around here I don't. But, some people have used the winter windshield washer mix. Not sure what the ratio is off the top of my head.

That is who I thought you were talking about I just wanted to make sure. I'm nt too worried Bout the race gas I just want to find some pure methanol. Does anyone know if it is better to run tap water or distiller water or bottled water with the methanol? I will definately give you a call. It will probably be around 6 or 6:30. Hey all4glh does redline still hangout at the carwash?

Different people run different things mixed with the meth.

I haven't really been out that much this year. I was selling my house, then moved in with a friend and now the car is out of commission so i haven't really been out. Besides, Jody (turbo 350) decided he wanted to do his own thing this year and took a lot of people with him. So, I am hoping to rebuild East Coast Redline during this winter when I am out of the Army and have a civilian job on post, hopefully my car will be done by the time winter comes around.

Damn I forgot about your car. Pretty good reason not to go out. You upgraded your S/C didn't you? And good luck with getting your civilian job

Yup, got the TVS. I guess my right foot was a little heavy and it may have been tuned a little leaner then it should have been. Now the pistons are on order and I'll be ordering the dual pass, OTTP axles and 2.9 pulley. I also have an Exedy Hyper single ready for install.

Well sounds like your gonna have your hands full. Does anyone know where I can pick up some tools, I've already looked up **** on sears but even their sales are expensive. I'm just looking for a place to get all kinds of tools at a decent price. ALL did you ever use the auto care center to work on your ****? And does anyone know if there is a dyno around here?
